Since nutrition is key to your success, we evaluate your nutritional intake and then help you with your meal planning. If you want to lose body fat or increase lean muscle mass, our trainers have the knowledge to help you achieve results.

Training equipment

We use a variety of training tools, including Pilates Reformers, EXO Chairs, stability balls, medicine balls, free weights, resistance bands, agility ladders – and the good, old-fashioned floor – to challenge you and keep your body moving.

Every bodyFi trainer knows the latest fitness techniques and can work you out using equipment like ViPR, Kettlebells, TRX, TRX Rip Trainer, BOSU, and BOSU Dynamic Stability Trainer so your training is always fun, dynamic, and cutting edge.

Every body type

bodyFi clients include men and women of all ages, shapes, and athletic abilities. Your personalized training program is created with your current fitness level and objectives in mind. It can be simple body weight exercises with a focus on core strength training, advanced exercises such as explosive, plyometric, multi-joint, and multi-muscle exercises – and anything in between.

The whole body

Each program is designed to challenge at least one of the following areas: core, balance, agility, cardiovascular, and muscular strength.

John has over 9 years of experience as a personal trainer and 3 nationally recognized certifications. He stays up to date with the latest trends in the fitness industry to keep his workouts fun, fresh, and challenging. John has a proven track record of delivering noticeable results in the least amount of time, even with clients’ constraints of life, work, family, and injuries.     Devin Nagata is a Certified Personal Trainer with a Bachelors of Science in Sport Exercise and Wellness. A multi-sport athlete at Dakota Wesleyan University, Devin uses his experience training athletes to create dynamic, functional and challenging workouts. He uses a wide range of training tools from ViPR, TRX to kettle bells to incorporate cardio and resistance training in a blood pumping, muscle burning good time.

  • Erik Carranza, CMT, is a native from Georgia and graduate from the renowned Atlanta School of Massage which partnered with Emory University in Neuromuscular therapy research. Erik incorporates Swedish, Deep Tissue & Neuromuscular Therapy/Trigger Point to relieve stress, treat injury (both chronic and acute) reduce tension, alleviate muscle soreness and increase athletic performance. As a runner and weight trainer, he understands the stress that is put on our bodies. His approach reconnects mind, body and soul to help the body heal itself.

    Cassie has worked in the health and fitness industry for over eight years. Growing up, she played every sport offered and discovered that the conditioning was her favorite part. Certified through both NASM and Power Pilates, her workouts are versatile as well as fun. Each one is different, using everything from TRX, kettlebells, and weights to bands and bodyweight exercises. She is constantly adding to her education, different types of strength training, nutrition or improving endurance. She brings lifelong fitness experience, along with her addiction to training certificates to continually create dynamic, explosive, challenging workouts.

 

Juno | Master Napper

    Juno, a 4-year old Boston terrier, accepted her position as the official bodyFi mascot after a brief stint at the local SPCA. She holds several board certifications, including sidewalk sniffing, treat eating, face licking, and pooping, although these have not yet been added to the bodyFi class schedule. She’s not crazy about toys but loves attention and is an enthusiastic jumper. Juno strives to make every bodyFi client feel welcome and is the only staff member who will accept belly rubs as a form of payment for services rendered.

 

Scott Henady
Certified Massage Therapist

  • Scott has been a massage therapist since 1997, starting with general/sports and relaxation massage and specific therapeutic techniques from a Swedish perspective. He later added additional advanced Swedish techniques and Tui Na, a form of Chinese orthopedic massage that he studied while earning his degree in Chinese medicine. Scott focuses on massage therapy as a part of regular health maintenance, as well as for specific acute or chronic therapeutic conditions.

  • "As a former ballet dancer I have used PIlates as a way to amp up my strength and performce, while working on my Bachelors in Arts at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA I became certified in Stott Pilates in 2007, and was able to take my passion to another level.   • If you’re a trainer who wants to get your own business off the ground with little overhead, and have the ability to train clients in a spacious, clean, well-equipped studio, bodyFi is your answer. You can rent our Financial District or New Mission Studio for personal training, Pilates, or other program, including group fitness in our 1200 sq ft studio or instruction in our private Pilates studio.
